Coldwell Banker High Country Realty has been a leader in serving North Georgia, Southeast Tennessee, and Southwest North Carolina for over 30 years. This reputation does not come easily and is not taken lightly. Four years ago my husband George and I (June) Slusser purchased the highly successful company. Both of us have extensive national real estate experience and successfully served in senior management positions at the highest level.

 We wanted to build on the company’s fine tradition and continue to improve the professional service afforded every client. The company is very unique to the mountains to our business approach. We made the commitment to be the best trained and most client focused company in the three state area. We achieve the difference in two profound ways:  We only accept associates who have made a full time professional commitment to the industry and client excellence. They must commit to never stop improving, attend rigorous training and utilizing innovative marketing techniques to help their clients.

As a company we chose the business model most advantageous to our clients. Our management team does not actively sell or list properties nor are they allowed to develop properties. This client centered approach ensures we would never be in competition with our clients or associates..    We felt that our competitor’s management models in the markets we serve create constant conflict of interest issues with their own agents and especially with the firm’s clients.

Our senior management team has over 60 years of combined real estate management experience in a variety of markets and sizes of companies. Our 40 plus professionals have hundreds of years of experience in our market.  The overriding themes to everything we strive for are; “no transaction is worth our reputation, and the client always comes first.”

Each member of our organization shares a commitment to service excellence aimed at building long-lasting relationships with our clients and the community at large. We are very active in our communities and believe in the importance in the giving of our time and money whenever possible. We are very proud to have been the sole sponsor of a Habitat for Humanity House built in 2007. Our team members are President of the Blue Ridge Business Association, on the board of the Blue Ridge Mountain Arts Association, Habitat For Humanity, Healthy Women, and Fannin’s Future,  President –Elect of the Rotary Club of Blue Ridge, President-Elect of Blue Ridge Rotary Club, active in numerous capacities with the local churches, a member of the Dedicated Ellijay Merchants Associations, active members of the Fannin and Gilmer Chamber’s of Commerce , PAW’S, SPARE, and  Light Up Blue Ridge to name a few.  We believe in a strong community through volunteerism.
